Hui No'eau Oil Study

Painted this little 6x6 study on location.  I love the Hui No'eau buildings and the red tiled roof - so much history and character.  I found out a couple of days ago that I'm not going to be able to be there for the 2017 Maui Open Studio which is quite a bummer for me.  I really loved it there, but we're going to try that location again for 18. 

Meanwhile - I'll scout around and find a different location for 2017.

Took a Fantastic one-day seminar from Joshua Been last week.  He's a super dynamic, high energy guy.  We had a great time and learned a great deal!

Painted this little study last week in Kihei.  It's 6 x 8.  Didn't have a lot of time, but thoroughly enjoyed doing this!
